About our workshops and Interplay Intergrated Care ProgramÂ
I have developed a modality called Interplay. Interplay is an attachment-based therapeutic approach suitable for children, young people and their parents/carers, where play and affect are the primary means of communication that embraces both the parent/carer and child. Interplay is a foundation of all my workshops. Come join me and take a deep dive into the wonderful world of Interplay.
Interplay is a universal language, focused on healing through relationships. Interplay facilitators create safety, develop understanding and support integration/healing through therapeutic connection.
Interplay facilitators work with parents and their children, putting words to the dyadic unconscious unspoken experience, looking behind behaviour, reflecting on their emotional needs, and deepening self-understanding and that of each other.
As attachment is our primary need and attachment disruption creates so much pain, Donna created Interplay to support and establish safety and connection between the primary caregiver and child. This universal model is fundamental for the future of mankind and can be used by all professionals.

Who is Donna
I am the creator of Interplay International, a qualified social worker, play therapist, family therapist and play therapy supervisor who has worked with children and families for over 27 years, specialising in trauma recovery.
I created and have delivered an international therapeutic training model designed for use by professionals to help facilitate attachment, connection, safety, and secure relationships. I'm an inspirational leader in this field and an international presenter. In my 27 + years working with parents and their children I have worked in a variety of government and private settings, including fostering and adoption, child protection, private clinic and non- profit organisation. I was a founding member of the Australian Play Therapists Association (APTA), and a current board member of Hear my Voice.
I have committed to providing therapeutic care, advocating for clients, and supporting families, spearheading transformative changes in global child and family therapy approaches, and collaborating with community programs to drive substantial change in client outcomes. How do I become certified in Interplay Integrated care.
In order to become a certified Interplay Facilitator you need to complete our Integrated Care course. This course consists of  5 modules of training.Â
On completion you will become a certified Intergrated Care, Interplay Facilitator.Â
